The new printing of Winter’s Daughter that we’ll produce as part of this Kickstarter is updated to Dolmenwood rules terminology. Older versions of this adventure can easily be used with Dolmenwood, with minimal conversion.

Add-ons are only active during the post campaign add-on store through BackerKit. If you would like to add money towards these items and towards shipping, you may manually add an additional amount of funds to your pledge via Kickstarter while the campaign is live.

If I change my pledge will I lose my Cloth Referee’s Map as an early backer?
Not as long as you change to another physical pledge! The time you make your initial pledge is always time stamped with your pledge, so even if you upgrade your pledge tier we will always be able to associate you with the first 2 day backer group.

How will PDFs be delivered?
The PDFs will be available as a digital download via BackerKit. Backers will receive near-finished PDFs of the core books shortly after the campaign ends (see Shipping and Timeline). These will be updated as the final stages of development are completed. Other PDFs (e.g. adventures) will be made available via BackerKit when ready.

What are the refund policies for this project?
If a project is still live, you can cancel your pledge before it ends. However, once a successful project has ended, and collection has started, it is no longer possible to cancel your pledge.
If you’re interested in having your collected pledge refunded, you’ll need to reach out to us directly at [email protected]. Refunds may have processing fees associated with them, depending upon at what point in the process the refund is requested. .
When issued a refund through Kickstarter, funds will be automatically applied to the card originally pledged with and may take up to 30 days to appear back on the card.
When issued a refund for added items or shipping fees processed through BackerKit, those funds will be applied to the card used for those transactions via BackerKit and Stripe.

What is the BackerKit pledge manager?
A few weeks after the Kickstarter is over, backers will receive a link inviting them to their pledge survey on BackerKit, a website that will allow them to add on items and pay for shipping, add-ons, etc. It functions much like a web store with photos and descriptions of each item. You will be able to enter your address and edit it before we ship the project. Nearly all large Kickstarter projects use a pledge manager as they greatly help organize, track, and fulfill orders.

If I pledge “No Reward”, can I upgrade my pledge in the pledge manager and/or access the add-ons?
If you pledge “No Reward”, you will have the option to upgrade your pledge in the BackerKit Pledge Manager. Maintaining your “No Reward” tier, however, will not give you access to backer priced add-ons or any exclusives.

What is the difference between the BackerKit backer add-on store and the BackerKit Pre-order Store?
The backer add-on store has backer discounted add-ons and exclusive items available only to backers. This is what backers will receive access to to add on items to their pledge and pay for shipping. The Pre-order Store opens a few weeks after the campaign to those that may have missed the campaign, but items are available only at the retail price and exclusives are excluded.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
